Bouteille de Clin d'oeil Cotes du Couchois

Cave de Mazenay is located in Saint-Sernin-du-Plain in the department of Saône-et-Loire. Above all, it vinifies in the very heart of the Côtes du Couchois appellation, and has done so for over 50 years.

It produces its own Burgundy wines, in particular the Blason de Vair from the Château de Couches vineyards. It is with will and know-how that it ensures the promotion of the PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) at the national and international level.

Although located since its creation in the very heart of the Couchois appellation, the cellar's approach is not limited to the work of a single PDO. But also to the production of a complete range of Burgundy wines, mainly from Côtes de Nuits to Côtes Chalonaises, and of course also including Côtes de Beaune. As a result, the Cave de Mazenay has developed a global approach that allows it to produce, and to be able to make people discover, from accessible wines to greater wines, such as the Hospices de Beaune. The cellar is also recognized by the Burgundy Wine Trade Association as a Cave de Prestige (discover our awards...).

Wines from central Burgundy

We could not talk about our Burgundy wines without talking about their climates, precisely defined parcels of vines. So that they all claim to be unique because of their specific natural conditions (geology, exposure, grape variety...). Which has led to their inclusion in UNESCO's heritage list since 2015. And it is, indeed, in the deep south of the Côte de Beaune, in the surrounding areas, that the Cave de Mazenay produces and offers the purchase of PDO wines, which are all unique...

Whether it is white or red burgundy wines, Burgundy Aligotés, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, grown in the climates of Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Maranges, Santenay, Meursault, Pommard, Gevrey, Rully, Mercurey, Givry, Montagny, or even the Côtes du Couchois, Cave de Mazenay knows how to produce and supply professionals and individuals who are sensitive to the respect of traditions and quality.

Because Burgundy is attached to its great history and distant traditions, Burgundy wines will forever remain the best in the world...
